Our 2014 robot was named "Murphy" by our design and build lead, Katiana. She named the robot Murphy after Murphy's Law. Anything that can go wrong, will -- and has -- but we've been able to fix it.
The Game - Aerial Assist
Aerial Assist is played by two competing alliances of three robots each. Alliances compete by trying to score as many balls in goals as possible during a two-minute and 30-second match. Additional points are earned by robots working together to score goals, and by throwing and catching balls over a truss suspended five feet above the floor as they move down the field.
